Ticket sale for iKON’s concert on Jan. 6 and 7 is opening soon… Fierce competition to get the ticket is expected
[OSEN=선미경 기자] The ticket opening schedule for boy group iKON’s concert “‘iKONCERT 2016 SHOWTIME TOUR IN SEOUL” to be held in January next year has been announced.
YG Entertainment (“YG”) unveiled a poster about the ticket opening schedule on the 29 at 10am on the company’s official blog (www.yg-life.com). According to the poster, the first and second ticket opening for January 30 and 31 concert will begin on January 6 and 7 at 8pm, respectively.
iKON held debut concert “SHOWTIME” on October 3 upon their debut, at Olympic Gymnastics Arena, one of the biggest concert halls in Korea. The unprecedented debut project of iKON drew big attention. iKON’s second concert to be held at the same venue on January 30 and 31 next year is also drawing keen attention from fans.
For the debut concert of iKON, all the 13,000 seats were sold out upon the opening of the sale, showing iKON’s big ticket power even though they had just made their debut. As iKON’s new songs released since the debut concert will be the repertory for the next year’s concert, the competition for the ticket purchase is expected to be fierce.
iKON has hit three consecutive home runs since their debut with “MY TYPE” in September this year, taking No.1 on music charts with “RHYTHM TA” and “APOLOGY”. The team established their status as the hottest rookie of the year 2015 by taking the rookie of the year award in 2015 Melon Music Awards and 2015 MAMA. iKON released debut full album on the 24, the Christmas Eve, to give a special present to fans. Their charismatic performances of “DUMB&DUMBER” and “WHAT’S WRONG?” unveiled for the first time in SBS INKIGAYO on the 27 also drew big attention
As such, iKON is continuously achieving big success since their grand debut. Music fans are now paying keen attention to how much upgraded performance iKON will present in their next year’s concert to captivate the audience.
iKON’s second concert “iKONCERT 2016 SHOWTIME TOUR IN SEOUL” will be held on January 30 and 31 at 6pm at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Olympic Park, Seoul. The ticket sale will be opened on January 6 and 7 at 8pm on Auction Ticket.
