After Topping the Charts with their Come-back Single, iKON Says “Thank you. We’ll always work hard with a beginner’s mind.”[interview]
[일간스포츠=황미현 기자] iKON has made a comeback, and their new single has swept the charts. Upon hearing the news, they said, “Thank you so much. We’ll always work hard with a beginner’s mind.”
In an interview that took place in Hapjung-dong at 1 PM on November 16, iKON said, “It was our first time working with TEDDY. Lots of people helped us, and it’s an honor that we receiving so much interest and love when we’re just a rookie.”
They added, “Thank you all. No matter how popular we get, we will always work hard with a beginner’s mind.”
iKON released “APOLOGY” and “ANTHEM” on the day of the interview. “APOLOGY” is a slow R&B song and “ANTHEM”- the duet song for B.I and BOBBY – is a powerful hiphop song.
iKON has made an successful debut with “MY TYPE” – a soft medium tempo song with a catchy melody. “MY TYPE” was on the top of the charts for a whole week, proving that iKON is indeed a “monster rookie”. iKON’s following hiphop single “RHYTHM TA” also swept the charts putting iKON on the road to success.
With “APOLOGY” becoming No.1 on the charts upon release, iKON has now released three No.1 singles in a row. iKON will be releasing their debut full album on December 14.
