“Monstrous rookie” iKON sweeping No.1 and No.2 on major music charts… “As expected”
[OSEN=표재민 기자] “Monstrous rookie” iKON is sweeping No.1 and No.2 places on music charts with their new song “APOLOGY” and “ANTHEM”.
“APOLOGY” is in the No.1 place on Melon, Genie, Soribada, Olleh Music, NAVER Music, Bugs, and Monkey 3, as of November 16 (at 7am). “ANTHEM”, another new song of iKON is in the second place. On Mnet chart, “APOLOGY” and “ANTHEM” are in the second and third place, respectively.
iKON released “APOLOGY” and B.I and BOBBY unit’s “ANTHEM” in their double digital single “WELCOME BACK” on November 16 at 0 o’clock. The two songs are at the top of charts, taking the No.1 and No.2 places on all major charts.
“APOLOGY”, the title track of the double digital single, is an R&B song with slow tempo which expresses a man’s sorrow and pain of breaking up with his girlfriend. “ANTHEM”, sang by iKON member B.I and BOBBY is a song of impressively intense rap.
