iKON Becomes No.1 on Inkigayo Charts for Two Weeks in a Row, a Phenomenal Debut
[OSEN=박소영 기자] iKON wins another trophy for topping the music show charts.
On October 4, iKON took the No.1 spot on SBS’s Inkigayo charts. iKON’s “MY TYPE” won the first place for two weeks in a row against Kyung Park’s “Ordinary Love” and Gary’s “Get Some Air”.
Leader B.I said, “Thank you very much. I’m so happy we’ve won this trophy on our first TV appearance. I’d like to thank all our fans and the staff and YG. We’ll work harder.”
iKON made their first TV appearance on the show. They started their special stage with “AIRPLANE”, which showed off B.I’s catchy rap and KOO JUN HOE’s appealing voice. This was possible because iKON has great vocalists as well as rappers.
They showed a totally different performance for “RHYTHM TA”. They filled the stage with their powerful and intense energy. iKON proved themselves as the “monster rookie” with their charismatic stage presence.
CNBLUE, iKON, Red Velvet, Ailee, GOT7, LOVELYZ, December, Soyou X Kwon Jeong Yeol, Monsta X, UP10TION, Seventeen, April,Roh Ji-hoon, Dia, Jjarimongttang, 2eyes, and 24K appeared on SBS’s Inkigayo on September 4.
