[EXLCUSIVE] iKON’s First Comeback Performance Will Take Place in ‘Music Core’ on the 27th… Confirmed to Make Appearance in ‘Inkigayo’ As Well
[OSEN=김은애 기자] Group iKON is going all-in for the Korean fans. They will make appearances in music broadcasts including MBC ‘Show! Music Core’ and SBS ‘Inkigayo’.
According to a coverage done by OSEN on January 25, iKON will have their first comeback performance on January 27 at ‘Show! Music Core’, and will also make appearance in ‘Inkigayo’ on January 28.
iKON will reunite with their fans with the title song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, a track from their 2nd official album, ‘RETURN’. They are expected to display a perfect performance as they have stated, “We are practicing over 10 hours a day”.
As iKON officially began scheduling their music broadcast appearances, they will have more opportunities to meet their fans. Furthermore, they are planning to actively engage in variety programs such as ‘All Broadcasting in the World’, ‘Knowing Bros’, and ‘Weekly Idol’.
YG Entertainment’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK has officially announced that iKON will be “going all-in on Korean fans” as soon as they make comeback. He will be keeping his word with the fans iKonic, since iKON is planning to hold a fan signing event and a fan meeting along with their confirmed guest appearances in music broadcasts and variety programs.
Due to the active promotion, iKON is expected to gain stronger fandom and popular appeal through their 2nd official album. People are looking forward to the performances iKON will display as YG’s first runner up in 2018, and how much love they will receive from the public.
Meanwhile, iKON will release their 2nd official album, ‘RETURN’, on January 25 at 6 PM. The album that contains a total of 12 tracks will show leader B.I’s growth as a producer, since he was credited as lyricist and composer in all songs. 8 new tracks including the one title song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, and 4 Korean versions of songs previously released in Japan will be included in the album.
