Ahn Young-Mi Joined YG Following Yoo Byung-Jae, “Welcome to YG, Come on~” [Official Announcement]
[OSEN=최나영 기자] Comedian Ahn Young-Mi has joined YG Entertainment (“YG”) family.
On June 8 in the morning, YG announced that comedian Ahn Young-Mi has joined YG. In a photo posted on YG’s blog, Ahn Young-Mi is showing a big smile, with a witty phrase that says, “Welcome to YG Ahn Young-Mi. June 8, 2015, I’m coming to work from today, too, Come on, Come on~”.
YG has recently recruited writer-cum-entertainer Yoo Byung-Jae, and announced the company’s plan to expand its business into new areas. It is expected that Yoo Byung-Jae and Ahn Young-Mi will create a synergy with YG’s other artists and actors. It is known that YG’s head producer YANG HYUN SUK himself directly expressed keen interest in the recruitment of the two comedians famous for their versatile talent.
Meanwhile, Ahn Young-Mi has enjoyed a big popularity since her debut as a KBS comedian in 2004, by acting in a variety of TV shows. Currently, she is appearing in tvN’s “SNL Korea 6” as a regular host.
