DAESUNG, “I like Trot Music… It Can’t Go Wrong”

[OSEN=선미경 기자] In the midst of his successful promotion of the solo mini album “D-LITE,” DAESUNG commented that he is fond of the trot genre, influenced by his parents.

Japan’s largest music site Oricon recently announced that DAESUNG’s new album is doing extremely well by selling whopping 71,000 copies. According to Oricon, the album is of trot music genre, appealing to businessmen by holding a surprise event in Shinbashi.

DAESUNG commented, “I have liked this genre the whole time, which is my parents’ influence. The genre can’t go wrong.”

Personnel from YGEX explained, “The fans love ‘Look At Me Guisun’ and they became one at the concert hall. Many involved in the industry found it entertaining, and they said it will be great to have an exclusive event for him.”

Japanese media commented, “BIGBANG’s member G-DRAGON wrote the song, and as the witty lyrics are in Japanese, the melody feels more familiar. There are people imitating the comical ‘chest dance,’ garnering even more popularity.”
