WINNER Has Begun First Tour in Japan… “Our Goal is Dome Tour”
[OSEN=선미경 기자] Boy group WINNER who has just made their debut in Japan said in their first tour in the country, “We want to hold Japan dome tour someday”.
On the 12 this month, Japanese media outlet Sankei Sports and Oricon Style reported about WINNER’s first concert tour ‘WINNER 1st JAPAN TOUR 2014”, which kicked off on the 11 at Zepp Tokyo located in Tokyo, Japan.
According to the news reports, WINNER performed total 19 songs including “GO UP” and “SMILE AGAIN” included in their Japanese debut album “2014 S/S-Japan Collection-“, in the concert of the day. They also unveiled cover performance of “LA LA LA Love Song”, a hit song of famous Japanese singer Kubota Toshinobu.
2,600 fans came to the concert on the day, filling the concert hall with their enthusiasm for one and a half hour.
Plus, WINNER talked about senior YG artist BIGBANG, “BIGBANG is like a big star, but we are more like your sweet boyfriend. We want to give a familiar feel of boyfriend”. They also revealed their goal, saying, “We want to hold Japan dome tour someday”.
Meanwhile, WINNER’s Japanese debut album released on the 10 this month has sold more than 30,000 records on the day of its release, taking the 2nd place on Oricon’s daily album chart.
