YG Says, “SEUNGRI Entered Hospital Today after Traffic Accident… No Significant Injury But Just for Check”
[스타뉴스 길혜성 기자] Idol group BIGBANG’s member SEUNGRI (LEE SEUNG HYUN, 24) suffered a traffic accident and he is to enter hospital on the 12 for a medical check for potential aftereffect, even though he got no significant injury.
SEUNGRI’s label YG Entertainment said to Star News in the morning on the 12, “SEUNGRI got into a traffic accident in early morning today (Sep. 12), but suffered no significant injury. However, he will enter hospital today (Sep. 12), for a thorough medical examination for potential aftereffect”.
By 3:30am on the day, SEUNGRI got into an overturn accident after bumping against another car in the front, near Dongbuichon-dong, while driving toward Ilsan on Gangbyeon Expressway in Seoul.
According to the police and fire authorities, SEUNGRI’s car collided with guardrail, after being overturned. The accident injured two people who were on the other car and they were transferred to a nearby hospital. SEUNGRI also got on the ambulance right after the accident, but known to have got off half-way. SEUNGRI is known to have been alone in the car, at the time of the accident.
An officer of Seoul Yongsan District Police Office said to Star News, “He was not drunk-driving. He will get necessary treatment, adjust schedule, and be investigated”.
