WINNER tops Gaon Chart 2 Straight Weeks

[OSEN=박현민 기자] YG’s new boy group WINNER is still heating up the music world.
Gaon Chart announced on Sept 4 that WINNER’s “empty” topped the streaming chart two weeks in a row.
Their achievement can be seen on other charts as well. In the downloading category, they went up by 4 rankings while on BGM chart they climbed 6, standing at #7. They are in the top 10.
They climbed 5 rankings on mobile chart. Their popularity is undying even after 3 weeks of album release.
Apart from these achievements, they also seized 5 trophies on 3 TV programs—unprecedented for a newbie group.
On Sept 10, they will kick off a tour in Japan after releasing their debut album “2014 S/S Japan Collection” in the country.
