TAEYANG’s dominance prolongs on music chart for 2 weeks with “Eyes, Nose, Lips”
[OSEN=선미경 기자] BIGBANG’s TAEYANG is showing signs of extended dominance by topping music charts with this title track “Eyes, Nose, Lips” from his 2nd full album.
His song ranked #1 on weekly charts of major domestic charts, Melon and Naver Music.
Apart from the achievement, he topped streaming top 100 with “Eyes, Nose, Lips” for 2 weeks and album top 20 with his album “RISE” for 3 weeks in a row. His prolonged dominance is prominent despite other artists releasing new songs. His track still ranks #1 on daily charts of Melon and Naver Music on June 23.
He is also performing excellently on TV music programs. He has been knocking down Mnet’s M Countdown and SBS’s Inkigayo for 2 consecutive weeks while receiving 6 trophies in total on other programs like MBC’s Show! Music Core and KBS 2TV’s Music Bank.
Originally known for his dynamic performances, TAEYANG this time only showcases his vocal talents through the newest “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” receiving high praises.
Meanwhile, he will be meeting with his fans through a private hugging event on June 26, and will be moving on to Japan in August for his first solo Japan tour.
