[OSEN=임승미 기자] Now everyone gets a chance to cover TAEYANG’s newest song “EYES, NOSE, LIPS.”
In the midst of all the hype surrounding AKDONG MUSICIAN and TABLO’s cover of TAEYANG’s new song through YG’s “Cover Project,” the event is now opened to the public.
Under the title “COVER PROJECT BY YOU,” the event was opened to public through TAEYANG’s official Facebook page at 6 pm on June 27. The application begins from June 27 and lasts until July 11. The best version of the cover will be announced on July 18.
The best one will be determined by public preference and the evaluation of expert producers and TAEYANG. The best cover video will also be introduced on TAEYANG’s official YouTube channel.
The reason behind opening the event to the public is that the cover project conducted by YG with its artists like AKMU and TABLO aroused much attention across the country, and these videos became the most searched on the Internet.
Last November when TAEYANG conducted a dance cover event of “RINGA LINGA” on his official Facebook page, fans across the world joined in. Taekwondo version of the cover video attracted much attention, showing that the event can be a medium to connect the fans and the artist closer to each other.
“EYES, NOSE, LIPS,” for which TAEYANG wrote the lyrics, is being loved by the public for his sentimental voice and the addictive chorus. Apart from knocking down major music charts, TAEYANG swept across 6 trophies on different TV music programs.
