TAEYANG wins back #1 position: Astonishing long run
[OSEN=이혜린 기자] TAEYANG won back the #1 position with his new title track “EYES, NOSE, LIPS,” astonishing many with his prolonged dominance.
Released on June 3, the song currently on June 28 still tops Korea’s largest music site Melon. K. Will’s “Day 1,” released on June 26, ranked #1 but in just 2 days TAEYANG won back the top position.
This is not the first time. TAEYANG, after yielding the ranking to Beast’s “No More,” “Good Luck” and Maroon 5’s “Maps” temporarily, quickly retrieved his top position.
The performance-eliminated “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” swept across all daily and weekly music charts immediately after release. Many are showing enthusiastic response to the song that accentuates his mesmerizing voice.
The cover video created by AKDONG MUSICIAN and TABLO attracted 1 million views in the blink of an eye, extending the hype and popularity of “EYES, NOSE, LIPS.”
Meanwhile, K. Will is also garnering much popularity by topping Genie and Mnet.
