TAEYANG Is Still There… New Album in No.1 Place for 22 Days after Release
[OSEN=이혜린 기자] “EYES, NOSE, LIPS”, the title track of BIGBANG member TAEYANG’s second solo album, is enjoying a long-run on chart.
“EYES, NOSE, LIPS” is showing an incredible long-run as of the morning on the 24, the 22nd day from its release. The song is still in the No.1 place on the real-time chart of Korea’s major music-streaming website Melon.
Some other new songs have taken the No.1 from “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” temporarily so far, but the song has retaken the place shortly, enjoying a big popularity.
“EYES, NOSE, LIPS” also took the No.1 on the weekly chart of Melon and NAVER Music for two weeks in a row. Plus, “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” also took the top place on “Streaming Top 100” for two consecutive weeks, and album “RISE” in “Album Top 20” for three consecutive weeks.
TAEYANG has been sweeping the top places not only on the music chart but also in TV music shows. He took the No.1 in Mnet’s M-Countdown” and SBS “INKIGAYO” for two weeks in a row, as well as in MBC “Show! Music Center” and KBS 2TV “Music Bank”. So, he has taken six No.1 trophies in music shows alone.
In the past, TAEYANG’s stages were mainly focused on performance, but “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” is all for TAEYANG’s vocal, which has been receiving favorable reviews recently.
