PSY discloses info on “HANGOVER”: “I rap… & will party with Snoop Dogg”
[마이데일리 = 전원 기자] PSY, who is to make a comeback soon, commented that he will be “rapping” in the upcoming new song “HANGOVER.”
PSY left Incheon Airport on May 31 (Korean time) and landed at LAX Airport, L.A. on June 1 to partake in America’s ABC talk show “Jimmy Kimmel: Game Night” and for promotion of his advance-release song “HANGOVER.”
Waiting for PSY at the airport, America’s TMZ.COM was able to interview him. On June 1, TMZ.COM uploaded an “Exclusive” interview with PSY on the main page of their website.
Dressed in black sunglasses, top and shorts, PSY looked very comfortable. On “GANGNAM STYLE” hitting 2 billion views, he commented, “When I hit 1 million views, I can’t remember when, I said, ‘Wow, how can I hit this number?’”
When asked “how did you celebrate,” he answered, “I didn’t celebrate yet because I was on the plane, so right now I’ve got to celebrate.” He also said, “I have a new one on June 8th, it’s called ‘HANGOVER’.”
To the question “what was it like working with Snoop Dogg?”, he wittily said, “We were hanging over. It was a really tight schedule of shooting because we had the shooting in Korea, Snoop had to move on, but it was really great and we’ve got to party later on.”
When TMZ asked what is different about “HANGOVER” to “GANGNAM STYLE” or “GENTLEMAN,” PSY said, “The two were sort of a medium thing, but this one is with Snoop, what you get is a totally hiphop thing.” When asked if he raps, PSY nodded and said, “With Snoop’s help.”
The music video of the much-anticipated song will be unveiled when PSY appears on Jimmy Kimmel’s show with Snoop Dogg on June 8 at 7 pm (eastern time). He will also unveil a skit filmed with the hiphop legend and Jimmy Kimmel. The song will then be unveiled in a full version on PSY’s official YouTube channel.
And at midnight of June 9 (eastern time, 1pm June 9th Korean time), the song will be released simultaneously and exclusively all around the world on iTunes.
