YG-Samsung Everland Disclosed 2nd Teaser Video of ‘NONA9ON’
[텐아시아 = 박수정] The second teaser video of “NONA9ON”, a global causal clothing brand, has been released. “NONA9ON” is created in cooperation between YG Entertainment (“YG”) and Samsung Everland’s fashion department (“Samsung Everland”).
The video released on the 11 conveys the brand image and concept of young street casual “NONA9ON”, through music and dance to which the young generation gets wild. The video is sensuous like a music video clip. In the black-and-white picture, dancers are displaying a powerful performance to electronic music that is full of strong beat. The disciplined group dance and the characterful and charismatic dancers are shown through a cross edit, adding to the sophisticated and chic feel of the video.
Notably, in the latter part of the video, dancers are showing a charismatic pose against the backdrop of a nonagon shape which represents “NONA9ON”. With the dancers, there appear words which suggest that a new project related with “NONA9ON” will be disclosed on September 9.
To create a video that highlights the sensuous and sophisticated image of the “NONA9ON” brand, Parris Goebel, who has choreographed for pop star Jennifer Lopez and created the dance of BIGBANG TAEYANG’s solo track “RINGA LINGA”, took the charge of the dance in the “NONA9ON” video. Plus, CHOICE 37 who has written hit songs such as BIGBANG’s “BAD BOY” and G-DRAGON’s “ONE OF A KIND” created the music for it.
Before the disclosure of the second teaser, the first video which expressed the story of the birth of “NONA9ON” in a mythological metaphor was released on the 9 on YG’s official blog, creating a big sensation. Many people said that the video was very interesting in that it announced the birth of a new fashion brand in a drastic way differently from existing methods for that.
YG and Samsung Everland co-established joint-company “Natural 9”, for the purpose of their continuous development based on convergence of each company’s unique advantages. For the beginning of the new company, the two are launching new fashion brand NONA9ON, which means a nonagon that symbolizes diversity and infinite growth.
“NONA9ON” targets young consumers around the world, based on the street culture which is represented by hip-hop. As the name “NONA9ON” that means nonagon, the brand will launch its products targeting the global market on September 9.
