AKMU Reclaimed No.1 on Music Chart… All Songs Are in Top Places for 5 Consecutive Days
[OSEN=박현민 기자] AKMU, a duo of a brother and sister, has reclaimed the No.1 on on-line music charts.
As of the morning on the 11, the title track of AKMU’s first full-length album “200%” is in the No.1 place on four real-time music charts including Korea’s biggest music-streaming website Melon, as well as Mnet.com, Olleh Music, and Genie. In other charts, too, the song remains in top places.
“200%” is a love song with a bubbly and rhythmical melody, which wittily talks about a feeling of not being able to say anything in front of the person of a secret crush, despite an all-night-long preparation to confess the love. The song’s folk-pop melody and fun rapping display AKMU’s unique sensibility and wit.
Furthermore, the rest of the songs included in AKMU’s debut album including “MELTED”, another title track of the album and “GIVE LOVE” which is competing to become the third title track, as well as other songs such as “ARTIFICIAL GRASS”, “ON THE SUBWAY”, “LITTLE STAR”, “DON’T HATE ME”, “HAIR PART”, and “GALAXY” have been staying in the top ranks on music charts continuously since the release of the album at noon on the 7.
New boy group HIGH4’s “Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms” is also drawing attention on music charts. The song has recently caught the eye of music fans for IU’s support for it, including her featuring and appearance in the music video. It is now in the No.1 place in the real-time charts of Daum Music and Cyworld Music.
Meanwhile, “Connection” of Yoon Min Soo, “Without You” of Mad Clown, “Wild Flower” of Park Hyo Shin, “Mr. Chu” of Apink are also in top places on music charts.
