An Album Featured by G-DRAGON•CL Takes 4th Place on American Billboard 200
[스타뉴스 이지현 기자] An album featured by boy group BIGBANG’s member G-DRAGON and girl group 2NE1’s member CL has taken a high rank on Billboard 200, the album chart of American Billboard.
According to Billboard on the 28 this month, “RECESS” of world-famous dubstep DJ Skrillex, which drew a big attention in and out of Korea for G-DRAGON and CL’s featuring, took the 4th place on Billboard 200.
The track in which G-DRAGON and CL took part is “Dirty Vibe”. Not only YG Entertainment’s main producer TEDDY and CHOICE 37, but also DJ Diplo who collaborated with G-DRAGON for “COUP D’ETAT” took part in the collaboration, too.
As the album of Skrillex is sweeping the American music market, G-DRAGON and CL are also expected to come under a big spotlight in the local pop market.
Meanwhile, G-DRAGON and CL have been showing world-class talent so far. G-DRAGON has already received rave reviews from America’s leading media outlets such as COMPLEX, Billboard, and FUSE TV. CL has recently set a new record for a K-Pop artist, with 2NE1’s second regular album “CRUSH” taking the 61st place on Billboard 200.
