[OSEN=권지영 기자] The Dance practice video of 2NE1’s “GOTTA BE YOU,” one of the double title songs of their second album “CRUSH” was released.

At 9 p.m. on Mar. 17, 2NE1’s dance practice video of “GOTTA BE YOU” was released on the YG ENTERTAINMENT’s official blog YG-LIFE, and it drew attention of their fans.

In the video, each member of 2NE1 wears unique training suits or casual clothes, showing off their free spirit. The video is gaining attention with the group’s cheerful and bright moves, which is something different from the charismatic and powerful sentiment shown on stage. In particular, the lyrics in the refrain “GOTTA BE YOU” is coupled with very impressive dance moves, where members use their hands to transfer the feelings of the lyrics.

In the intro to the song, the members express the feelings of the song by acting as if they are talking to one another. At the end of the song, all four members with a cheerful expression shout out “GOTTA BE YOU,” looking straight into the camera. It added another charm to the song.

The fans who watched the video reacted enthusiastically, saying, “The dance practice video of 2NE1 is so lovely,” “It is refreshing, a sentiment that can’t be found in the song “COME BACK HOME,”” “Hand motions and their charismatic eyes are the best at the end of the song,” and “2NE1 never fails our expectations.”

“GOTTA BE YOU” was composed by both producer TEDDY and PK. With its fast tempo, and the main melody part where MINZY and BOM shout out “GOTTA BE YOU!” aim to win fans’ hearts. That is why the song “GOTTA BE YOU” was selected as double title songs along with “COME BACK HOME.”

The intro of the song starts with a unique synth sound and a rhythmical rapping. The end of the song is made up of strong beat and old-school melody, which makes the song a cross-over dance piece that encompasses trap and EDM.

2NE1 just released a new album and is planning to begin active promotion of the song. 2NE1 will also meet with their overseas fans with their second world tour “ALL OR NOTHING,” which will visit 12 cities of 9 countries, including Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.
