G-Dragon Selected as One of Top 10 Music Videos of the Month” by UK’s DAZED
[스타뉴스 윤성열 기자] Boy band Big Bang (Taeyang, Dae Sung, G-Dragon, Seungri, Top)’s lead singer G-Dragon is recognized in the UK, the heart of the European pop market.
Music video of “COUP D’ETAT”, one of the tracks in G-Dragon’s second full solo album, was selected as one of the “Top 10 Music Videos of the Month” by UK’s magazine “DAZED & Confused” on its web-site on the 10 this month.
The magazine covered G-Dragon’s new album saying, “Super-popular K-Pop band Big Bang’s lead singer G-Dragon has made comeback with new songs featured by Diplo and Baauer.”
G-Dragon has released part 1 and part 2 of his second full solo album “COUP D’ETAT” on the 2 and 5 respectively and his album has shown a strong momentum to sweep number one places not only in Korea’s major music charts but also iTunes main single and album charts in many countries around the world.
Furthermore, G-Dragon has recently won FUSE TV’s competition where he was selected “Best New Artist” in the “International Pop” genre by fans’ vote, proving his world-wide popularity once again.
Meanwhile, other songs besides G-Dragon’s “COUP D’ETAT” in the top 10 list include Lady GaGa’s “APPLAUSE” and Cassie’s “I KNOW WHAT YOU WANT”.
