TREASURE Concludes 30-Tour Show in 13 Cities with an Encore Performance in Seoul
[OSEN=선미경 기자] TREASURE has once again proven their mettle as live performance artists, capping off their second Asia tour spanning 30 shows across 13 cities with a grand finale.
On August 15, TREASURE took to the stage for the second performance of the “2024 TREASURE RELAY TOUR [REBOOT] FINAL IN SEOUL” at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Bangi-dong, Seoul. This tour stop, their first domestic concert in about eight months since last December, saw them uniting passionately with fans over a thrilling 150-minute set.
The concert kicked off with “BONA BONA” and continued with hits like “JIKJIN” and “BOY,” their energy making the summer heat forgettable. The performance included a total of 22 songs, such as “KING KONG” released last May, sweeping the fans into a frenzy without a break.
Their stages varied from hip-hop to ballads to rock, delighting both eyes and ears. Notably, the powerful live band session and the seamless synergy with the band showcased why TREASURE is renowned for their impeccable stage performances.
Another heart-racing moment was when 2NE1’s CL, a senior artist from the “YG FAMILY,” made a surprise guest appearance, receiving ecstatic responses from the audience. This marked a special moment as it was the first guest appearance at a TREASURE show in four years, showing her support and affection for the junior artists.
The unexpected appearance of CL intensified the excitement at the venue, with TREASURE expressing their deep respect and honor: “It’s truly an honor and very moving that a senior we deeply respect has participated as the first guest in our show.”
TREASURE continued with unstoppable encores to the very end. The fans, known as “TREASURE MAKERS,” reciprocated with energetic sing-alongs and cheers. The members conveyed their gratitude towards their fans, saying, “Thanks to all of you, every moment has been joyful and we have felt loved. Thank you for having fun with us. Let’s never forget this feeling and keep it forever.”
