“Each and Every One of Them Is Great,” BABYMONSTER Impresses Park Myung-soo with Their Exceptional Live Performance
[OSEN=지민경 기자] Group BABYMONSTER showcased a flawless live performance on their first radio appearance.
This morning on KBS CoolFM’s “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show,” BABYMONSTER appeared as guests. During the show, they performed their title track “SHEESH” live. Despite the early hour, the members impressed with their high notes, earning admiration from the audience. Park Myung-soo praised them, saying, “Each and every one of them is great at what they do. They excel in their respective parts. How much practice have they done? YG doesn’t just pick anyone.”
Following BLACKPINK, BABYMONSTER is the first girl group launched by YG Entertainment in seven years. When asked about their goals, they expressed, “We want to hold our own concert, win newcomer awards, and become popular worldwide. We’d like to top the Billboard charts and hope to have a long and healthy career.”
Members from Thailand and Japan also showcased their fluency in Korean, which surprised many. RUKA commented, “I’ve been studying Korean diligently for six years. I even dream in Korean. I talk in my sleep in Korean too.”
When asked about their favorite Korean foods, ASA mentioned, “I love Sundae soup. I was shocked when I first tried it, but now I find it delicious and eat it at least once a month. I also enjoy blood sausage. I’m a big fan of soups.” RUKA added, “I like Bossam, and I enjoy eating porridge with squid pickles.”
Additionally, today the members performed not only BABYMONSTER’s songs like “BATTER UP” and “Stuck In The Middle” but also a variety of cover songs without accompaniment, showcasing their unique vocal talents. Park Myung-soo repeatedly expressed his admiration, noting, “All the members are uniformly talented.”
Finally, BABYMONSTER said, “It was our first radio appearance, and it’s an honor to be on Park Myung-soo’s program. Although we were nervous, we’re glad it went well. We look forward to your continued interest.”
