YG’s BABYMONSTER Prepares a Surprise Gift… Fans’ Anticipation Builds

On Dec. 19th, YG Entertainment posted ‘BABYMONSTER – SPECIAL PRESENT TEASER’ on their official social media at 12 PM. The specific details are still under wraps, but it’s a teaser for content that will be revealed at midnight on the 20th.
The poster released today featured a warm atmosphere with a red ribbon and a blue-colored stamp on an envelope. The phrase ‘Special present’ was clearly engraved, amplifying curiosity about what gift BABYMONSTER will send to global music fans during their first year-end together.
YG said, “BABYMONSTER has prepared a special gift to spend a warm year-end with music fans worldwide. We hope everyone enjoys this gift, filled with the six members’ emotions.”
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER’s ‘BATTER UP,’ released on the 27th of last month, dominated the iTunes charts in 21 countries at number one upon debut and reached the top ranks of the worldwide charts. It also secured the 101st and 49th spots on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S charts, respectively. On Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, the song surpassed 10 million streams in just ten days, setting a new record for the fastest debut song by a K-pop girl group to achieve this milestone.
