[OSEN=선미경 기자] Group TREASURE has achieved 1 billion streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform, further expanding their global popularity.

YG Entertainment announced on the 29th that TREASURE has surpassed 1 billion total accumulated streams for their music released since their debut in 2020 on Spotify.

The trend has steepened following the recent release of their new album. Starting with TREASURE unit T5’s ‘MOVE’ in June, followed by the release of their second full album ‘REBOOT’ in July and the subsequent track ‘B.O.M.B (kaboom ver.)’, their active promotions have led to a rapid increase in both Spotify followers and streaming numbers.

Fueled by the popularity of their second full album, earlier released tracks are also gaining momentum. The mini-album track ‘DARARI’ from the first mini-album, despite being released about two years ago, continues to receive steady love from listeners, surpassing 200 million on the 13th (local time), while the title track of this album ‘JIKJIN’ is approaching 100 million streams.

It is noteworthy that TREASURE is continually growing each year on Spotify, a major platform with over 400 million users. Last year, TREASURE ranked in the top 10 of the most streamed K-pop boy groups on Spotify. Not stopping there, they have recorded their highest streaming count this year (2023.01.01~2023.11.28) with over 390 million streams, significantly surpassing last year’s numbers, raising expectations for future trends.

Recently, TREASURE successfully sold out a large-scale fan meeting tour in 5 cities in Japan, totaling 19 sessions, and decorated a splendid finale at the Tokyo Dome, known as the ‘stage of dreams’. Riding on this momentum, they will meet their fans at the ‘2023 TREASURE CONCERT [REBOOT] IN SEOUL’ to be held from December 15th to 17th at the KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Seoul Olympic Park.
