TREASURE, ‘The First Half was Just a Warm-Up, Now it’s Time for REBOOT!
[전자신문=박동선 기자] TREASURE’s new REBOOT, along with the traces of their busy activities in the first half of the year, is garnering high expectations.
According to YG Entertainment on the 5th, TREASURE is gaining fresh anticipation in the global arena, as they have officially announced the comeback of their second regular album ‘REBOOT’ to be released on the 28th.
The anticipation towards TREASURE’s comeback stems from the global buzz they created through their successful debut Asian tour and effective content communication.
Since winning the Best Group award at the ‘Golden Disk Awards’ in January, they began their Japanese tour starting from Kyocera Dome in Osaka, and expanded it to Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, Macau, Hong Kong, and other cities. With 40 shows in 17 cities under the ‘2023 TREASURE TOUR [HELLO]’, the band allowed audiences to anticipate their mature period of success, showing off their inherent musical charm and enriching their on-stage skills with various performance experiences.
Despite their busy tour schedule, they managed to participate in interviews with major media outlets in various countries, appear on entertainment programs, and continuously expose their own content such as ‘TREASURE WORLD MAP’, ‘TMI-LOG’, ‘T-TALK’, ‘3-minute TREASURE’, ‘Fact Check’, etc., showing the unique empathetic communication power of the 4th generation groups.
This activity of TREASURE naturally drew interest mixed with expectations for the mature ‘REBOOT’ along with the teaser of the charismatic unit T5’s ‘MOVE’. The announcement of the expansion of their global activities through a partnership with the major American record label, Columbia Records, also raises expectations for their emergence as a new representative of the 4th generation on the global stage.
