BABYMONSTER’s RUKA, YG’s 5-Year Trainee Finally Sees the Light

YG Entertainment uploaded ‘BABYMONSTER – VISUAL FILM | RUKA’ and ‘BABYMONSTER – VISUAL PHOTO | RUKA’ on their official social media on November 21.
Following CHIQUITA, ASA, RORA, and PHARITA, RUKA’s unique hip-hop swag is fully showcased in these releases. Appearing with red hair, RUKA completes an extraordinary atmosphere with her intense aura. Her street fashion, a blend of black and red tones, adorned with lavish silver accessories, added a substantial charisma that instantly captivated the viewers.
RUKA’s polished demeanor, hard to believe for a newcomer, was also remarkable. Her steady gaze and dynamic camera work, combined with stylish gestures, drew admiration. Her cute appearance contrasts with a mysteriously strong charm, leaving a strong impact.
RUKA, of Japanese origin, is a 5-year trainee at YG and has been training for the longest period among the BABYMONSTER members. She has not only natural talent but also solid rapping skills imbued with YG’s hip-hop identity, and a relaxed stage presence, making her a standout ‘all-rounder’ in the public eye.
Regarding BABYMONSTER’s debut song ‘BATTER UP’, YG mentioned, “It will be a powerful hip-hop track that marks the start of BABYMONSTER, embodying their bold confidence and ambition, and imprinting their unique presence.”
