TREASURE Heats Up the Atmosphere Ahead of Their 2nd Album Release
[스포츠월드=김재원 기자] TREASURE has sequentially released tracks from their 2nd album ‘REBOOT’ ahead of its launch.
YG Entertainment posted ‘TREASURE – ‘STUPID’ TRACK SPOILER’ on their official blog on the 22nd. It is a video containing a part of the 6th track, which is member YOSHI’s first self-composed song.
The unusual harmony of bell-type synth sounds and an acoustic guitar stands out. The appealing tone of TREASURE, combined with the energetic drum beat, creates a refreshing yet sweet atmosphere. The bursting chorus along with the refreshing vocals has captivated listeners’ ears.
The contrast of a cheerful melody and sorrowful lyrics is impressive. Lyrics expressing regret and sorrow about a breakup, such as “Everything is because I’m stupid/Why did I do that, I regret it so much then”, stimulate delicate emotions and increase curiosity about the song.
Above all, it is notable that the song has a different charm from the three previously released preview tracks which had a strong mood. As TREASURE has consistently shown growth and proven their limitless musical spectrum, more attention is being drawn to the diverse track composition than ever before.
Meanwhile, TREASURE will make a comeback with their 2nd album ‘REBOOT’ at 6 pm on the 28th. The album includes 10 tracks of various genres, including the title song ‘BONA BONA’ and rap and vocal unit songs. As the members have participated the most in this album compared to the ones released so far, it is expected that fans will be able to experience the deep musical colors of TREASURE.
