YG Set to Scout K-pop Talent… Youth Experiential Special Classes Launched
[스타뉴스=최혜진 기자] Entertainment agency YG Entertainment is set to launch a special camp for teenagers dreaming of becoming the next generation of K-pop artists.
On the 20th, YG Entertainment announced that they will host the ‘2023 YG CAMP’ on August 12th and 13th, an experiential lesson where you can directly experience YG’s systematic training system.
‘YG CAMP’ is a program that provides free special classes from YG trainers, including hip-hop theory, vocals, rap, dance, etc. Excellent participants will be given the opportunity to take the YG trainee selection test.
The recruitment target is resident males in Korea who were born between 2008 and 2012 and have no contract relationship with any agency. They can choose their most confident field among vocals, rap, dance, etc. and apply online by August 6th.
YG said, “We planned ‘YG CAMP’ with the hope that it would be a place to answer questions about auditions and share various know-how.” They added, “We ask for a lot of interest from talents who have passion and infinite potential to lead the future of K-pop.”
