According to YG Entertainment on the 1st, the title track ‘FLOWER’ from JISOO’s solo album, released at 1 PM (KST) the previous day, claimed the top spot on the iTunes Worldwide Songs chart. The song dominated charts in a total of 57 countries and regions, including North and South America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia, showcasing its widespread popularity.

The response on domestic music charts is equally impressive. ‘FLOWER’ instantly soared to the top of Naver VIBE, as well as securing top spots on real-time charts of Melon, Genie, and Bugs Music. In particular, on Melon, the song is eyeing the throne by climbing the ranks rapidly with a combination of 24-hour usage and real-time users.

Living up to her ‘YouTube Queen’ title, interest in her music video is also hot. The music video for the title track ‘FLOWER’ broke through 37 million views in just 20 hours after its release on YouTube, swiftly claiming the title of ‘Most Viewed Video within 24 Hours.’ BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel also saw a sharp increase in subscribers, surpassing 85.6 million.

JISOO’s first solo album ‘ME’ set a new record for K-pop female solo artists by racking up over 1.31 million pre-orders within three weeks of reservations. It is now on the verge of becoming the first ‘million-seller’ in this category.
