TREASURE Reveals Behind Scenes from Japan’s Done Tour… Gets Teary Saying “Feels like Family”

[OSEN=지민경 기자] Group TREASURE revealed behind scenes from their first Japanese dome concert which was filled with tears, excitement, and overwhelming emotions.

YG Entertainment put up the 7th episode of ‘TREASURE WORLD MAP’ on their official social media on the 16th. From heart-pounding rehearsal scenes to 80,000 people becoming one and members’ backstage interviews, the clip was filled with behind stories of the tour.

TREASURE members who visited the venue a day before the concert were shocked by how big the venue was. They said they were nervous saying that “It’s the first time we’re performing at such a venue by ourselves, so we’re really nervous.” Despite their worries, the group went straight into rehearsal mode and focused on their performances.

ASAHI who was born in Osaka said, “I almost cried when I did my sound check”, and had to contain himself during rehearsals. HARUTO, who is also a Japanese member said, “I’ll work hard to make great memories for TREASURE MAKERS.”

During the concert, TREASURE took over the whole stage with their experience built during the tour and their strong bond and chemistry. Not only did they show an intense performance, they also interacted with fans with their personal skills and Japanese, delighting 80,000 fans to came to see the group.

TREASURE tried to contain their emotions during the whole concert, but when they delivered their last feeling before the show, they burst out crying. Starting with leader CHOI HYUN SUK, members went in turns and addressed their families and how thankful for them in tears, and TEUMES colored the venue in blue with their TEU-LIGHTS to comfort and support the emotional members.

Through the backstage interview, members talked about things they couldn’t say on stage. YOON JAE HYUK said, “I feel happy because I feel like we’ve accomplished something as a team. I feel really happy and they feel like family.” Member YOSHI and ASAHI said, “I wasn’t crying because I was sad but because I felt mixed emotions I couldn’t describe in words. Thank you so much to fans who came to our concert.”

Meanwhile, Treasure brought together about 220,000 people with their first Japan Arena Tour since debut which was held 24 times in seven cities.   They added about 80,000 more people with their special dome concert, attracting a total of nearly 300,000 audiences. They’re currently carrying out an Asian tour which is being held 12 times in 8 cities including Taipei, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, Macau and Hong Kong.
