Transformed JISOO Shows Elegant Charisma…YG “Look Forward to New Musical Colors”
[엑스포츠뉴스=이슬 기자] BLACKPINK JISOO released new poster images that provide a glimpse into what her concept for the debut album will be.
YG Entertainment put up a poster titled ‘JISOO – ALBUM TITLE POSTER #2’ on their official social media on the 13th. The poster showed JISOO appearing charismatic, contrary to the previous poster imaged which stole the hearts with JISOO’s soft charms.
In the imaged revealed on the 13th, JISOO wore a white dress which stood in contrast to the black background decorated with red flowers. Her intense eyes were shining brightly amid her flowing hair and her makeup which used red shadows also drew spotlight.
Her confident pose and facial expressions even brought out mysterious tensions. Her pose represented how artist JISOO will not hesitate in showing off the charms she has.
JISOO will be releasing her first solo album “ME” at 0:00 U.S. Eastern Time and 1:00 p.m. Korean time on the 31st of March. YG had earlier said “Despite her busy schedule with her world tour, she poured in her love to this album by continuously working on the album.”
YG added on the 13th that, “We worked very hard on this album for a long time to fully portray JISOO’s charms. The public can look forward to JISOO’s new musical color unfolding, which has never been seen before.”
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently carrying out the biggest world tour as a K-POP girl group the ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’, bringing 1.5 million audiences all together. BLACKPINK who successfully finished their concert which was held 14 times in 7 North American areas and 10 times in 7 European countries, have now headed to Asia, meeting with their Asian fans.
BLACKPINK will also take the stage as headliners at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the U.S. in April and the Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival in the U.K. in July.
