BLACKPINK JISOO Receives a Flood of Messages Congratulating Her 10th Anniversary with YG
[스포츠경향=양승남 기자] JISOO of group BLACKPINK received a flood of messages celebrating her 10th anniversary with YG Entertainment from the global fans.
JISOO entered YG Entertainment as a trainee through an audition back in July 2011. The global fans sent congratulatory messages after news spread out that JISOO has been with the agency for 10 years.
The global fans celebrated and congratulated her with the message ‘JISOO 10 YEARS WITH YG’ and hashtag ‘#ADecadeWithJISOO’. The hashtag was ranked at no. 3 and at no. 5 on Twitter’s Worldwide Real-time Trend Rankings on the 30th. The fans wrote that they will “continue to support JISOO’s dream”, while celebrating her 10th anniversary with YG.
JISOO took an audition 10 years ago, to gain experience in becoming an actress. Contrary to YG’s Hip-hop image, JISOO passed the audition by performing Lee Eunmi’s Ballad track titled ‘I Have a Lover’. JISOO, priorly known as the ‘very pretty trainee from YG’, showed off her charms and talents by appearing on Epik High’s music video and drama ‘Producer’ from KBS. While raising people’s anticipations with her various activities, she became a global star in BLACKPINK in 4 years after making debut.
Through her interview with Elle Korea held back in January, JISOO stated, “It’s been only 4 years since I made debut as an idol, but it’s been almost 10 years adding up my trainee days”, and revealed her challenge spirits by adding, “I have no fear in pursuing my goal”.
JISOO has recently been selected as the global ambassador for Dior Fashion and Beauty. She has been casted as the main heroine of JTBC’s upcoming drama series ‘Snow Drop’, raising anticipation on ‘JISOO the actress’ as well.
