AKMU to Release Collaborative Album ‘Next Episode’ on July 26th

On July 12, YG Entertainment uploaded a teaser video notifying the release schedule of AKMU’s collaboration album ‘Next Episode’ through their official blog.
In the video, a person seemed to be falling but instead rose up to the sky as the screen was reversed. The grand and tense background music presented a mystic vibe for the video, while the viewers were curious on what the morse codes at the end of the clip signifies.
AKMU will be releasing their album in approximately 2 years since their third album ‘Sailing’, released back in September 2019. The fans are highly anticipating the differentiated music which LEE CHANHYUK and LEE SUHYUN will present, along with the information on the artist they will be collaborating with.
Furthermore, the phrase ‘Another Summer, Another Episode’ implied the possibility that their upcoming album could be related to their previous single ‘Summer Episode’ released back in 2017. AKMU has presented the essence of EDM through their title track ‘Dinosaur’ along with the perfect harmony of acoustic and synthesizer sounds through the song ‘My Darling’, which led to favorable reviews from music fans.
AKMU has been loved with every album they’ve released since their debut in 2014. They’ve not only topped music charts but have also received favorable reviews from the public and critics with their high-quality music and broad spectrum.
