iKON Successfully Kicks off Japanese Tour…all 3 Concerts in Kobe Sold Out
[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] Group iKON proved its everlasting local popularity by successfully conducting its first performance of their Japanese Tour.
According to the group’s agency YG Entertainment on July 4th, iKON kicked off their ‘iKON JAPAN TOUR 2022′ at Kobe World Memorial Hall in Hyogo for two days on July 2nd and 3rd.
All seats for the concert which was held 3 times over two days, were sold out, proving the enthusiastic responses from local fans.
After taking the stage, iKON responded to audiences’ enthusiastic energy by performing their distinctive performances full of energy and unrivaled live skills. Starting off with ‘KILLING ME’, they performed songs from their new album, allowing with ‘MY TYPE’ and ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, filling the 150 minute running time with their hit-songs.
In particular, iKON performed tjhe Japanese version of ‘DIVE’ and ‘BUT YOU’ for the first time, adding even more fuel to the passionate atmosphere of the concert venue.
Due to COVID-19 quarantine restrictions, group singing and cheering were not allowed during the performance. However, both iKON and fans expressed their sincerity toward each other with one heart.
iKON said, “We’re so happy we can meet again like this. We’re so happy for the huge love you send us, and we hope you’re just as happy. We want to be with you guys for a long time. We’ll make sure to work even harder to do even better.”
After successfully completing the first performance of their Japanese tour, iKON will release their Japanese album ‘FLASHBACK [+i DECIDE]’ on July 7th, which contains a total of 12 tracks.
They will then continue on their ‘iKON JAPAN TOUR 2022’ at Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo on July 9th and 10th.
