Performance Video for LISA’s ‘MONEY’ Reaches 600 million Views
[뉴시스=이재훈 기자] The choreography video of LISA’s solo song from group BLACKPINK is continuing its trail in reaching more than 100 million views.
According to LISA’s agency YG Entertainment on the 21st, The Exclusive Performance Video for LISA’s solo song ‘MONEY’ surpassed 600 million views on YouTube as of 9:05 PM the previous day.
The feat comes in about 270 days since it was released on September 24th last year. The video reached 100 million views in 15 days, 200 million views in 38 days, 300 million views in 66 days, 400 million views in 108 days, and 500 million views in 173 days.
YG said, “As a solo artist, LISA is showing how influential she is globally, similar to the popularity of BLACKPINK’s choreography video for their mega-hit song ‘How You Like That’ (reached 600 million views in 250 days).
MONEY is a song that features rap lyrics full of swag based on sophisticated hip-hop sound. As a track-song of LISA’s first solo single album ‘LALISA’, the song caused an unusual trend by gaining popularity on major music charts around the world a month after it was released.
It topped iTunes’ top song charts in 38 countries, and ranked 5th on Spotify Global Chart, the world’s largest music streaming platform. It then entered the U.K.’s official single top 100, the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and the POP AIRPLAY charts for eight weeks, two weeks, and three consecutive weeks, respectively.
Meanwhile, the M/V for LISA’s solo album ‘LALISA’ is also close from reaching 500 million views.
