[마이데일리=강다윤 기자] ‘MONEY’ listed on BLACKPINK LISA’s first solo debut album is receiving just as much as popularity as the title song ‘LALISA’.

LISA’s ‘MONEY’ recently entered UK’s Official Chart’s Single Top 100 as 81st. This is another feat reached after ‘LALISA’ which entered the same chart as 68th during the first week of release. This is the first time a track song of a K-POP female solo artist got listed on this chart.

This song earlier topped the ‘Rap Digital Song Sales Chart’ of Billboard, which is also a first among K-POP female artists. Economic magazine Forbes said LISA broke barriers and made historical achievements in the mainstream hip-hop market typically dominated by U.S. artists. It also added that she proved there’s a market for foreign rappers in the U.S., and hopes that this achievement can open up the pathway for more artists.

She is also showing other outstanding records. ‘MONEY’ has been gaining steady popularity on the world’s largest music streaming platform Spotify and jumped up to 9th on the Global Chart. The Exclusive Performance Video for ‘MONEY’ ranked first on the ‘Most Viewed Video’ on YouTube on the first week of release, and ranked 2nd on the 2nd week too. It only took 14 days for it to reach 100 million views. The whole choreography video which was released on YouTube on the 10th took the top spot of the ‘Worldwide Trending Video’ chart and almost reached 10 million views in just a day.

LISA already topped her career as a K-POP female solo artist with her title song. The title song ‘LALISA’ took the first place in the iTunes Top Song Chart in a total of 72 countries and ranked first in the Global YouTube Song Top 100 Charts for two consecutive weeks. She made her presence clear in the mainstream pop market by ranking 2nd of US’ Billboard Global 200, 84th on Billboard’s Hot 100, and 15th on Spotify’s Global Chart.

Her records of initial album sales are also outstanding. Based on the Hanteo Chart, 736,221 copies were sold which is an unprecedented achievement as a female K-POP artist. The total amount of sales including overseas exceeds 810,000 copies so far.

Just like her title as a ‘YouTube’ queen, the M/V for ‘LALISA’ is still showing enormous power. Within 24 hours, the M/V reached 73.6 million views, taking the title of ‘the most viewed video within 24 hours among solo artists around the world’. It then reached 100 million views in just two days, setting the shortest record for a K-POP solo artist, and then surpassed 200 million views in around 13 days, breaking the record among K-POP female solo artists.

LISA’s sensational solo album also acted as a catalyst to BLACKPINK’s already so powerful influence. Since LISA’s solo activities, the number of subscribers for BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel reached 68 million subscribers. This is the highest figure among artists from all around the world, and their cumulative view count has exceeded 20 billion.
