BLACKPINK LISA’s ‘MONEY’, Listed on UK’s Official Chart for 4 Consecutive Weeks…Popularity Continues On
[스타뉴스=공미나 기자] Group BLACKPINK LISA’S solo album track song ‘MONEY’ has once again reached another record on the UK’s Official Chart.
According to UK’s Official Singles Chart Top 100 which was released on the 29th (local time), LISA’s ‘MONEY’ took the 46th spot.
This is 8 steps higher than last week. ‘MONEY’ has been steadily climbing up the chart after a month since it was released on September 10th. After around a month of release, it first entered the chart as 81st, then reached 59th, and climbed up again to 54th.
LISA left a huge foot print in the UK’s main chart, also known as one of the most influential pop charts along with US’ Billboard. LISA is the first K-POP female solo artist to have her name up on the chart for 4 consecutive weeks. When considering both male and female artists, this record was reached after 8 years since PSY’s ‘GENTLEMAN’.
US economics paper Forbes said “LISA is continuing to break records day after day. LISA rewrote history by listing herself up on the UK’s Official Chart for 4 consecutive weeks”.
‘MONEY’ is also showing enormous popularity in other global charts too. ‘MONEY’ took the 2nd spot on Global YouTube Top 100 Chart, and recently took the 5th place on Spotify’s Global Chart. It also reached 11th and 9th respectively on the Billboard Global 020 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S), proving it’s influence around the world for 6 consecutive weeks.
