LISA Officially Listed on The Guiness World Record

[스포티비뉴스=김원겸 기자] BLACKPINK LISA has been officially listed on the Guiness World Record with her first solo album title song ‘LALISA’.

UK’s Guinness World Records announced on the 8th via its website that LISA’s ‘LALISA’ M/V got listed as the ‘Most viewed YouTube music video by a solo artist in 24 hours’.

On the first day of release, the ‘LALISA’ M/V reached 73.6 million views. Guinness explained that it topped Tylor Swift’s single ‘Me!’ released back in April 2019, which gained 65.2 million views in the 24-hour time period.

As a result, BLACKPINK now holds three new Guinness records just with its solo projects in 2021. Earlier this year, ROSÉ set the record for the ‘Most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo K-POP artist’ with her title for her solo album ‘R’, ‘On the Ground’ last March, and the first artist to ‘Reach number one a Billboard Global Chart as a soloist and as part of a group’.

Guinness also added that ROSÉ and LISA’s recent success also means that the band features inside the Guinness World Records 2022 book within the social media section, highlighting their past achievements.

Meanwhile LISA’s solo album title song ‘LALISA’ topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in a total of 72 different countries and also took the first place in the Global YouTube Song Chart. The track song ‘MONEY’ has also been receiving steady popularity, ranking 9th of the world greatest music platform Spotify’s ‘Global Top 200’ chart.

BLACKPINK where LISA belongs to is also proving its strong global influence through YouTube. They have a total of 32 views which reached more than one hundred million views and the accumulated view count has reached more than 20 billion views. They currently have more than 67.8 million subscribers, ranking first among all artists around the world.
