BLACKPINK is Now on ‘Battlegrounds’… Krafton Holds Special Event to Celebrate Their New Collaboration with the Group

[디지털데일리=왕진화 기자] Idol group BLACKPINK, the second most subscribed artist group in the world on YouTube, has appeared on ‘Battlegrounds’.

On August 4, Krafton(CEO Kim Changhan) announced that PUBG Studio’s ‘PUBG: Battlegrounds(hereby Battlegrounds)’ will collaborate with girl group BLACKPINK and hold the ‘Squad up with BLACKPINK’ event.

To celebrate BLACKPINK as the new squad of Battlegrounds, the company prepared contents so that users can meet BLACKPINK and enjoy within the gameplay.

First of all, BLACKPINK theme contents will be updated within the Battlegrounds map.

The update will include elements symbolizing BLACKPINK including ▲Building decals in Erangel, Miranmar, Vikendi ▲Transport aircrafts of all maps including Taego ▲Supply box and smoke

BLACKPINK in-game items will also be released. A total of 38 items including BLACKPINK’s stage outfits, hair, helmets, weapons, backpacks, spray, and parachutes will be released.

The items will be sold as per-member bundle or as an all-members bundle. They can be purchased from August 4 at 11 AM through PC, and from August 12 at 1 PM until December 31 through console.

2 of the 38 items(3-level helmet, 3-level bag) will only be provided through the BLACKPINK Special Supply Event. The event will be held from August 18 at 4 PM until September 7 at 4 PM.

After completing various missions while playing Battlegrounds, users can acquire the 2 items and 20 contraband coupons.
