Psy quickly climbs the ranks — #2 in iTunes and top 10 in 50 countries
Psy came back with his new song ‘Gentleman’, and it is climbing the ranks with flying colors. It ranked number 2 in iTunes global chart and came within the top 10 in 50 different countries.
On April 15, ‘Gentleman’ became number 2 in iTunes global single chart, just behind P!nk’s ‘Just Give Me a Reason.’ Following his new song is Rihanna’s ‘Stay.’
In the morning at around 8p.m., he stood at number eight, the same rank as the previous day; but he jumped six ranks in just a few hours.
Nothing is stopping him from soaring even higher – he is now in the top 10 in iTunes of 50 different countries, including Belgium, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore. He ranked 3rd in Russia, 5th in Brazil, 6th in Canada and 8th in France.
The music video of his new viral song ‘Gentleman’ was unveiled at 9p.m. on April 13, which is gaining huge popularity worldwide. The uploaded video on Youtube has hit 44.5 million views at 10 a.m. on April 15, and he so far has 629,605 Likes.
