YG TREASURE Challenges Skydiving x Paragliding, ‘Success’
[OSEN=장우영 기자] CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, JUNKYU, and YOON JAE HYUK succeeded in indoors skydiving and paragliding for the first time of their lives, overcoming fear.
On April 30, YG Entertainment revealed episode 44 of ‘TREASURE MAP’ season 2 through their official blog. Only 4 members including CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, JUNKYU, and YOON JAE HYUK participated due to vacation schedules, while they challenged the ‘Brave Brothers’ project mission.
After turning on the camera according to the cue-card, the members received a text inviting them to the grand project of TREASURE MAP, the ‘Friendly Brothers’. The members looked forward to their next day while making all kinds of speculations on their yet to be revealed destination.
The place where the members arrived was an indoor skydiving center. While the members stood with devastated looks thinking that they would have to bungee jump, the cue-card revealing the ‘real content of the day’ was revealed, The ‘Friendly Brothers’ was fake, and the actual theme was the ‘Brave Brothers’, specially prepared to make TREASURE overcome their fears.
The members went on skydiving after receiving education and watching the instructor perform. The first runner was YOON JAE HYUK. The members, who saw him rise to the top with a stable form despite being his first try, looked flustered as if they saw what’s coming to them next.
CHOI HYUN SUK entered the wind tunnel boldly as if he was prepared, but made the members burst into laughter by coming out looking as if he lost his soul. JIHOON looked sloppy at first but presented a decent vertical leap and calm turns after getting used to it, while JUNKYU maintained his calm and posture which looked the best among the 4 members, successfully completing his mission.
After receiving the skydiving certificate by completing the first mission of ‘Brave Brothers’, the members headed to the sky paragliding school. After arriving at the paragliding spot by climbing up a steep mountain, the members eyes trembled as they were overwhelmed by the sharp wind, wide view, and the enormous height.
YOON JAE HYUK was the first runner to challenge paragliding once again. After getting on while making a big scream, he realized that it was not as frightening as he thought and felt a new kind of emotion he wouldn’t have felt if he did not make the challenge.
CHOI HYUN SUK, who looked the most nervous, yelled, “It’s fun! I didn’t have to be scared” and completed his flight. JUNKYU who followed threw a heart for the fans while reading a line from ‘MY TREASURE’, while JIHOON also fell for the ‘Viking’ and crossed the sky in thrill, decorating the end of the episode.
Meanwhile, TREASURE is expanding their popularity realm through various contents and music broadcasts, by connecting with their global fans. Their recently released Japanese debut album ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’ has won 5 titles on major Japanese Weekly Album Rankings including the Oricon·Line Music·Billboard Japan, all acknowledged for both popularity and credibility.
