iKON Reveals ‘Kingdom’ 1st Round Practice Video… Different Points From Main Episode, ‘Gathers Attention’
[헤럴드POP=조은미 기자] iKON’s ‘Kingdom’ 1st round practice video was revealed on the 10th, gathering the people’s attention.
It made the people realize the effort and sweat from iKON’s hard work as well as making them have fun while comparing it to the version from Mnet’s ‘Kingdom: Legendary War’ episode aired on the 8th.
iKON presented a mashup stage of their mega-hits including ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ and ‘KILLING ME’ on the 1st round competition of ‘Kingdom’. They revealed the original YG practice room version prepared for that exact performance. The video showed a dominant mood as if they were actually competing on stage, although they were wearing different outfits and were performing on a different set.
Despite being a practice video, the camera captured the walking, angles, and directions of the performance which made the viewers become immersed. iKON’s lively facial expressions and dynamic group moves filled the screen as a result, making the fans smile.
The members of iKON freshly pulling off the big moves of ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, arranged in a musical tone, looked very impressive. The dramatic effects and DK’s fatal eye acting as the song transitions into ‘KILLING ME’ can be only seen through the practice video.
The practice video also realistically presented iKON’s ‘KILLING ME’ dance break and freestyle performance full of Hip-hop swag. iKON’s disciplined group moves were also taken as a full-shot with JU-NE performing at the center, presenting an exhilarating catharsis.
Meanwhile, episode 2 of ‘Kingdom’ showed iKON practicing day and night. They were working hard with their strong will to present a great performance for the global fans. They’ve focused on the performance itself and also tried to create something new, which is why the people are continuing to make favorable reviews towards iKON.
