BLACKPINK ROSÉ ‘Conquers’ Chinese Music Charts with Her Solo Single Album
[디지털타임스=김광태 기자] BLACKPINK ROSÉ’s solo single album has topped major Chinese music charts.
On March 15, YG Entertainment has announced that ROSÉ’s single album ‘R’, released on March 12, has topped the Digital Album Sales Chart of QQ Music, China’s biggest music platform, for 3 consecutive days.
The agency explained that 1.1M copies of ‘R’ has been purchased from the according chart and added, “It is two times faster than typical K-Pop artists reaching 1M in sales”.
The album was also ranked at no. 1 on Kugou Music and Kuwo Music.
Releases∙Top Rising∙Popularity Index∙MV charts. The song has also topped the Daily and Weekly charts of Kugou and Kuwo Music.
The song has topped iTunes Top Song charts in 51 different countries, as well as the Worldwide Chart. The song also entered the Global Top 50 chart of Spotify, the world’s biggest music platform, as no. 8.
The physical album also received over 510 thousand pre-orders, setting the biggest record in K-Pop female solo artist history.
