ROSÉ’s ‘On The Ground’, Comeback Maximizing Her Solo Presence

On March 12 at 2 PM(KST), ROSÉ released her title track ‘On The Ground’ from her solo single album ‘R’, worldwide.
‘On The Ground’ has a lot of meaning for ROSÉ, who has begun her new career as a solo artist. YG Entertainment introduced, “The lyrics state, ‘I’ve always aimed and worked to go higher but the most important value is within myself’, and the song has an impressive drop decorating its climax”.
YG The Black Label’s producers TEDDY and 24, who have worked on all of BLACKPINK’s mega-hits ever since debut, have collaborated with Jorgen Odegard, who has produced for Justin Bieber, along with Amy Allen who has collaborated with Harry Styles and Halsey. ROSÉ maximized her own musicality through ‘On The Ground’.
‘On The Ground’ was a song summarizing ROSÉ’s style. The heavy beat and chorus following the intro guitar sounds made a strong impression on the listeners.
ROSÉ also maximized her charms through the MV, adding her attractions as a solo artist to what she’s shown through her position in BLACKPINK. She looked glamorous, lovely, and even sexy.

Physical copies of ‘R’, to be officially released on the 16th, has already received over 400 thousand pre-orders, and has set the biggest record in K-Pop female solo artist history, raising the anticipation of fans.
