YG Announces “TREASURE’s Official Debut Album Will Be Released on January 2021”
[엑스포츠뉴스=전아람 기자] YG TREASURE has noticed their upcoming comeback with their third single album being released on November 6. TREASURE’s official debut album release schedule has also been officialized, raising the fans’ anticipation.
On October 30, through a fan notice, YG has revealed “TREASURE is planning promotion activities for their third single ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER THREE’ for a long time until the end of the year”.
They added, “TREASURE’s official debut album will be released next year on January, and we hope to begin the year 2021 with all of you Treasure Makers(fandom)”.
TREASURE has been expanding their influence in the global music industry after making debut on August 7, under the fast·concentrated strategy set by YG. They’ve sold almost 500 thousand copies of their two single albums and has become a strong rookie of the year award nominee.
YG explained, “Rather than announcing the official debut album in a rush in a time when many year-end music broadcasts and award ceremonies are held, we plan to expand our promotional activities for the upcoming title track, ‘MMM’”.
YG also added, “We will also resume the group’s reality content ‘TREASURE MAP’, which was on hold due to the busy song preparation process, so please show a lot of love and support”.
TREASURE’s third single album ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHATPER THREE’ will be released on November 6. CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, and HARUTO were credited as lyricists on the group’s 3 consecutive releases, while member ASAHI was credited as the lyricist and composer for the first time, which is grabbing the fans’ attention.
The members’ participation levels are higher than ever, and since TREASURE will present YG’s signature Hip-hop genre for the first time, the people are looking forward to their clear musical color and growth.
