“I Wonder About Space”… LEE SU HYUN Turns into a Cute Alien on ‘ALIEN’ Character Teaser
[텐아시아=최지예 기자] The main melody for AKMU LEE SU HYUN’s first debut solo single ‘ALIEN’ was revealed, making the listeners expect its unique concept and song mood.
On October 12 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded LEE SU HYUN’s ‘ALIEN’ CHARACTER TEASER VIDEO through their official blog.
In the video, LEE SU HYUN grabbed the people’s attention with her unique styling which she has never presented before. From green nails to a ring with alien design and tomboy-like makeup, everything was different from what she has shown during her AKMU activities.
LEE SU HYUN’s clear voice and narration also raised the fans’ curiosities.
LEE SU HYUN revealed her confidence by stating, “What I like? I know it well. And how to enjoy”. She continued, “I wonder about space these days”, and left an odd impression by adding, “I’m discovering it in every way, by seeing, hearing, and feeling. Wouldn’t that let me know one day? About who I am”.
It wasn’t a direct expression but seemed to pass on the message telling people to passionately discover yourself and what you like. The clip raised curiosities on the lyrics of LEE SU HYUN’s upcoming solo single, ‘ALIEN’.
The main melody of ‘ALIEN’ was revealed at the end of the video. Despite being a short 6-second teaser, the exciting sound grabbed the listeners’ ears.
‘ALIEN’ is the upcoming debut solo single by LEE SU HYUN, being released in 6 years since her official debut. AKMU LEE CHAN HYUN was credited as the writer and composer of the song, as well as taking the role as the main producer, making the people look forward to the birth of another masterpiece.
LEE SU HYUN appeared on SBS ‘Survival Audition K-Pop Star Season 2’ back in 2012, gathering the attention of the public. After making official debut in YG in 2014, AKMU became hugely popular with their unrivaled emotional touches and musical capabilities, establishing themselves as ‘music chart influencers’ you trust and listen to.
The title track ‘How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love’ from their 3rd album ‘Sailing’ released last year on September achieved an ‘all-kill’ on Korean music charts at the time, and is still ranked in the Top 20 of Melon, although it has been over a year since its release.
