TREASURE’s First Chuseok After Making Debut… YG, “Break During Holidays, Restricted from Training Rooms”

[스타뉴스=공미나 기자] Rookie group TREASURE wore hanbok and greeted the fans in celebration of the first Chuseok holidays they will spend after making debut.

On September 29 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded a video titled ‘Spend a Happy Chuseok with TREASURE MAP and 12 Flower Boys’.

The 12 members of TREASURE gathered in the back yard of a traditional Korean house while wearing hanbok in beautiful colors, showing off their fantastic visuals. With their bright energy and energetic vibes, they noticed a Chuseok special ‘TREASURE MAP’ episode to be premiered on October 2 at 12 PM after stating, “We prepared a Chuseok gift for the fans with our apologies that we can’t greet you in person”.

CHOI HYUN SUK also sent a message of support by stating, “There were many hardships this year on 2020, but I believe we can all gather our strength to overcome the hardships”. The members then cheered the viewers up by stating, “Spend a bright and happy Chuseok”.

Meanwhile, YG recently revealed, “For TREASURE’s recharge after their restless schedules, we gave them a full-break for 5 days during the Chuseok holidays from September 30”. They added, “We advised them to rest completely with an interesting guideline, ‘Do not enter training rooms’”.

4 among the 12 members of TREASURE who are from Japan(YOSHI, MASHIHO, ASAHI, and HARUTO) cannot leave the country due to the COVID19 situation. It is known that other Korean members will invite them to their homes to spend the holidays together.

TREASURE, who has made debut approximately a month and a half ago, has released their second single album ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER TWO’ on the 18th and are expanding their influence in the global market at a fast pace.

Their title song ‘I LOVE YOU’ topped iTunes Top Song charts in 9 different countries on the date of its release and was ranked at no. 1 and no. 3 on Rakuten Music and Line Music’s Weekly charts respectively, proving their popularity in Japan.
