TREASURE to Release ‘2021 WELCOMING COLLECTION’
[동아닷컴=정희연 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE will release the ‘TREASURE’s 2021 WELCOMING COLLECTION’.
On February 2, YG Entertainment uploaded 4 teaser images of TREASURE’s ‘2021 WELCOMING COLLECTION’ through their official social media account.
The members made teams of 3 and presented their sophisticated looks on a luxurious background. The people are looking forward to the charms and concepts of the upcoming pictorial, as they’ve showed off their handsome visuals from various angles with different poses.
Since the images revealed today were teasers and detailed information regarding TREASURE’s ‘2021 WELCOMING COLLECTION’ have not yet been revealed, but the release date is expected to be announced in the near future.
After making debut last year on August, TREASURE set a milestone of achieving 1M album sales with ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series released since then.
TREASURE’s official debut album and its title track ‘MY TREASURE’ has not only topped the Real-Time Rankings of major Japanese music platforms, but also topped Gaon Chart’s Album Chart for the 3rd week of January 2021.
Furthermore, TREASURE won various trophies and rookie awards at the ‘2020 Asia Artist Awards’, ‘2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards’, ‘The 35th Golden Disc Awards’, and ‘The 30th Seoul Music Awards’, proving themselves as the global super rookies.
Meanwhile, TREASURE will join the recording of KBS2 ‘You Heeyeol’s Sketchbook’ for the first time today(2nd). TREASURE’s performance will be broadcasted on the 5th. The people are looking forward to what kind of performances TREASURE will present to capture the eyes and ears of global fans, as they are a group who dominated major award ceremonies of 2020.
