YG, Who’s Next After BLACKPINK? Comeback on October 16
[동아닷컴=전효진 기자] YG implied another upcoming comeback after BLACKPINK.
On September 28 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the ‘WHO’s NEXT?’ poster through their official blog.
The poster did not signify the artist, but only announced the comeback date, October 16. The alien and UFO design with waving hands on top of a trophy with pink ribbons also raised the people’s curiosities.
Artists of YG have presented high quality music this year. On August, rookie group TREASURE made debut, receiving the attention from the K-Pop industry. TREASURE is a group presented by YG in 4 years since BLACKPINK.
Furthermore, BLACKPINK noticed their upcoming global popularity storm by announcing their upcoming official debut album ‘THE ALBUM’ on October 2, in 4 years since making debut. The people are paying keen attention on who’s the artist that will make comeback 2 weeks after BLACKPINK to dominate the K-Pop scene.
YG has previously revealed album production progress and plans of MINO and YOON of WINNER and AKMU. The people are curious on who will be the one making comeback among them, or whether it will be YG’s new project.
