iKON, 5-Year Debut Anniversary… Exclusive Selfies LIVE, ‘Gifts of Fan♥’
[스포츠조선=조윤선 기자] iKON prepared special presents for the fans to celebrate their 5th debut anniversary.
On September 15, YG Entertainment uploaded the ‘MY TYPE’ LIVE VIDEO through iKON’s official social media account.
In the video, the members met in the conference room and had a meeting about their debut celebration video. They decided to film live contents and revealed their passion by actively suggesting places and concepts.
iKON then headed to the studio with memories. They sat in the recording room while sharing the memories they had, and began singing ‘WELCOME BACK’ instinctively, raising the mood.
iKON also did not forget about their fans. DK stated, “Since it’s our 5th year, we should prepare a gift for our fans”, and the members sang their debut song ‘MY TYPE’, adding more meaning. After presenting an ear candy live performance of ‘MY TYPE’ acoustic version, iKON said goodbye to the fansby stating, “KONICs(fandom), happy 5th year anniversary”.
iKON has previously announced the fan event that will be held through the ‘DEBUT ANNIVERSARY ROUTINE CHECK’ poster. They also raised the people’s anticipation by noticing a debut anniversary ‘V LIVE’ which will be held today(15th) at 11 PM.
After making debut back in September 15, 2015, iKON has released numerous hits including ‘MY TYPE’, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, and ‘KILLING ME’ while becoming popular with their musical capabilities and stage manners.
Their third mini album ‘i DECIDE’ released back in February was ranked at no. 1 on iTunes Album charts in 24 different countries, proving the group’s unchanged global presence. The group is currently working on their upcoming album while actively communicating with their global fans through various contents.
